YOUNG PROFESSIONALS COUNCIL

The New York Edge Young Professionals Council (YPC) is a group of mission-driven New Yorkers in their twenties and thirties motivated to give back to the local community. The YPC offers networking and social events, fundraising initiatives, volunteer efforts, advocacy work, and training to become future board members. YPC members have opportunities to meet the New York Edge Board of Directors, sit on or lead committees, and plan events throughout the year.

Ideal Candidates

Young professionals from all industries who:
● Are passionate about New York Edge’s mission of advancing equity in education.
● Are willing to make New York Edge one of their top three philanthropic and volunteer priorities.
● Are strategic thinkers who are committed to purposeful and reflective thinking focused on strategy rather than tactics.
●Board members are committed to diversity and represent a broad range of industries, backgrounds, ages, genders, and cultures.
