Volunteers are critical to our programs. Opportunities are available in administration, working with our students and staff in the school setting, and at one-day program events. We are in every borough of NYC as well as lower Westchester County. Most programs are between the 3-6PM on weekdays and during the day on Saturdays and school holidays. Take action and register to volunteer with New York Edge.
New York Edge has special projects that require skilled volunteers – marketing materials, design, professional development in STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts, mathematics), Arts, and Sports.
Inspire students to start thinking about their future today. Visit a school. Speak to our students. Inspire them to achieve greatness.
Speakers Bureau invites NYC professionals to speak with our students on topics including: school experience, college application process, seeking out an internship, landing their first job, and career path. It is never too early to teach students the importance of planning today for their future successes. Hearing real-life stories and first-hand experiences is invaluable for our students. Join us as an individual or group and share your story.
The Young Professionals Committee is a group of young professionals actively engaged in supporting the mission of New York Edge. Through fundraising events, volunteer activities, and advocacy, members raise awareness of the importance of afterschool programs and provide the edge our students need to succeed in life.
Are you an alumni of a New York Edge program? Welcome back! We would love to hear from you and include you in our activities.
