Sports programming includes daily instruction in a variety of activities ranging from esports to martial arts to tennis and everything in between. This is complemented with clinics, special events, and trips to professional sporting events.

Food Explorers is a seasonal nutrition education program that develops healthier habits through the exploration of food. Participants learn about nutrition basics, kitchen equipment usage, and cultural & career influences of cuisine. This is supplemented through the development of culinary skills and daily recipes from our master cookbook. Special events include the yearly “Chopped Challenge” competition, “Food Explorers Game Show” and health fairs.

Leagues serve as the leader in Saturday programming, with approximately 2,000 participants across all of New York Edge throughout the school year. Programming includes flag football in the fall, basketball and volleyball in the winter, soccer in the spring, and more leagues to be added soon. Additional tournaments are hosted throughout the summer in a variety of games & sports. Games take place across NYC, with championship games taking place in special venues such as MetLife Stadium! Seasonal award ceremonies for participants & staff, weekly newsletters, and a digital newspaper compliment the experience.

Girls L.E.A.D (Learning Empowerment through Athletic Development) provides participants of all ages who identify with the girlhood experience to freely engage in, and develop physical activity and leadership skills in a safe and inclusive environment. This experience is enhanced with exclusive leagues, trips, workshops, and clinics.
